Menu Monday and Weekend Scenes

I cannot believe that we're leaving today for Nantucket, it snuck up so quickly!  The Nantucket pile has grown over the past week and the moment of truth is almost here, will it all fit in the car??  

I'm looking forward to sharing a bit of Island life over the coming weeks, here's what we've got planned this week...

Monday- arrival, unpack, pizza & salad 

Tuesday- food shopping, berry picking, grilled chicken caesar salad

Wednesday- theater workshop for Reagan, beach, dinner out at Ship's Inn

Thursday- theater audition for Reagan, pick up our CSA, pick up our first visitors at airport, Low Country Boil

Friday- beach, dinner out at The Jetties

Saturday- Firecracker 5K, Main Street 4th of July fun, pool, burgers on the grill

Sunday- beach, dinner out at The Pearl

Yesterday was our 18th anniversary and we celebrated with an overnight getaway to the Four Seasons Boston...

We checked in and headed up the the 5th floor...

We had a king garden view room.

After settling in, we decided to take a stroll through Beacon Hill.

 We admired the beautiful homes in Louisburg Square!

We spotted these Starbucks Boston "You Are Here" mugs on Charles Street, so cute!

 We made our way back to the hotel via the Public Garden...

 We got ready for dinner at Del Frisco's...

We started with some cocktails...I love The VIP!

 We arrived at our table and found a Champagne toast waiting for us!

 After a delicious dinner, somehow we both found room for the Strawberry Romanoff!

We ended off our stay with brunch at The Bristol with a view of the Public Garden...plotting our 20th anniversary getaway!
