Menu Monday and Weekend Scenes
Happy first day of summer! Otherwise known as National Wear Your Lilly Day!
While Riley was in NYC and Mr. PS had a dinner in the city, the girls and I hit nearby Hearth for dinner.
It's a cute brick oven pizzeria in Needham center that features a variety of make your own salad, pizza and pasta options.
We started with a full size romaine, tomato, cucumber & red onion salad, plenty to share!
Rowan had their kid's cheese pizza and I went with a small 9" Roasted Garden pizza which was a little light on the red and yellow peppers that it claimed to have. Reagan enjoyed a small Margherita pizza. It was good, reasonable and kid friendly, I would definitely try it again!
Friday was Reagan's last day of school. She finished 6th grade and will move on to a private 7-12 school in September. Both her and Riley attended this school from K-6 so it was tough to say good-bye after so many wonderful years!
She headed off to a pool party after school and Rowan and I had some fun at a playground!
I hit up my favorite 7am spin class on Saturday, the instructor perfectly choreographs the rides to music from the 70's ad 80's, it's amazing and so much fun! We got several things done around the house and then ran some errands which included filling our growler at the Lookout Taproom! I'll share more about that tomorrow.
Yesterday we hit Cap'n Jack's Restaurant in Kingstown, Rhode Island for Father's Day dinner!
Mr. PS was excited to order a dozen clamcakes for the table, a Rhode Island classic!
Cap'n Jack's is also known for their amazing desserts...
So after all that, here's what's cooking this week...
Monday- Homemade Spinach & Ricotta Stuffed Shells
Tuesday- Soup & Panini
Wednesday- Crock Pot Beef Fajitas
Thursday- Pizza & Salad (post Red Sox)
Friday- BBQ...Burgers, Dogs, Homemade Potato Salad, Cole Slaw & Baked Beans
Saturday- out
Sunday- TBD
Hope you had a fantastic weekend! The weather was gorgeous here and we seized each day! Riley was off to NYC with his 8th grade class bright and early on Thursday...
He had a great time and returned home briefly Saturday night before heading home with my parents for a few days after our Father's Day dinner last night. We're looking forward to seeing him again on Thursday! While Riley was in NYC and Mr. PS had a dinner in the city, the girls and I hit nearby Hearth for dinner.
