Menu Monday and Weekend Scenes

Good morning!  We woke up to flurries and a little snow on the ground today, winter is on it's way!
We had a really nice weekend kicking off the Thanksgiving holiday.  On Saturday, the big kids and I helped assemble 3,200 Thanksgiving meals organized by a local business that fundraises all year just for this!
It's an amazing assembly line operation, many hands make light work!
On Sunday, Turkeys were added to each roasting pan package and delivered to homes throughout southeastern Massachusetts!  We haven't participated in the delivery process yet, but we would like to help out with that in the future.
Saturday evening, Mr. PS went out to one of our favorite restaurants, Pane E Vino in Providence, Rhode Island.
The food and service are consistently excellent!
Affogato is becoming our favorite dessert!
I hit barre class on Sunday morning and then I was off to a 4 mile Turkey Trot in Norwood, Massachusetts. The temperature hovered around 45, but it was so windy that it felt much cooler!
The final mile was a slow incline, ugh!
Done!  I have another one on Thursday morning so this was a good warm-up since I haven't been running much lately.
In addition to the typical post race bananas and bagels, Odwalla was giving runners Odwalla smoothies, yum!
We ended off the weekend with 5:00 Mass and confirmation class.

Here's what's cooking this week...

Monday- Parent Conferences...Tenders, Tots and Green Beans for the kids
Tuesday- Spaghetti, Meatballs, Salad
Wednesday- Meatball Subs
Thursday- Thanksgiving Dinner
Friday- leftovers
Saturday- out
Sunday- TBD

How was your weekend?  Are you hosting Thanksgiving or on the road?
