Weekend Scenes
We've had a busy few days with lots of fun activities! Let's start with Good Friday, the kids were off from school so I scheduled Reagan's Global Entry interview for that afternoon in Boston. We decided to stop in and have lunch at Mr. PS's office first...
We had a great view of the Marathon finish line!Reagan and I strolled through Beacon Hill on our way back from her appointment...
and enjoyed the Marathon excitement in the city!
We stopped at Eataly in the Prudential Center to provision for dinner. This was our first trip and it was amazing!
We picked up pasta, sauce and fresh bread. I sautéed some peppers and an onion to add in and it was delicious!
I hit my usual Saturday spin class to warm up before the B.A.A. 5K in Boston. There were just shy of 9,000 runners! We started on Charles Street and ran through Back Bay.
Coming down Commonwealth Avenue, we u-turned just before Kenmore Square.
We crossed the Marathon finish line just after mile 2!
Spike, the B.A.A. unicorn, was cheering on the runners!
I came home for lunch and a shower before heading back to the city for a Red Sox game at 4:05! We met some friends for a drink at Eastern Standard first.
Then we met Mr. PS's brother and our sister-in-law at the game. The weather was perfect for mid-April with temps in the high sixties!Easter morning arrived quickly and thankfully the Easter Bunny found our new home!
Rowan's basket...
Reagan's basket...

Breakfast before heading to noon Mass...
It was almost 85 degrees by the time we left!
After Mass we headed to my parents' house where a basket of goodies was waiting for us!
We made our way outside to the Bunny Trail...
where lots of eggs awaited us!
There's no shortage of candy here...
Ready for dinner!
We ended off with one more birthday celebration for my Dad with key lime pie, his favorite!
Mr. PS was off to work on Monday morning while the kids and I took off to Lexington, Massachusetts for a Patriot's Day 5 miler!
The weather was spectacular again!
Reagan caught me crossing the finish!
We drove a few miles south and parked ourselves in front of Newton-Wellesley Hospital to cheer on the marathoners!
We spent two hours at mile 16 ringing our cow bells! Just amazing to watch...Congrats to all the finishers, what an accomplishment!
