Dining around Disney

I wouldn't say that I'm a Disney expert or even a huge Disney aficionado.  I think Disney is a fun place to visit, but there's also big wide world out there to see.  With that said, I have visited Disney quite few times starting with my first trip in the spring of 1978.  We lived in Florida in the eighties so we had the opportunity to go several times then, Mr. PS and I went on our honeymoon in 1997, we returned with the kids in 2005, 2008 and of course this past weekend.

So over the years we've tried quite a few Disney restaurants and have really enjoyed most of them...

50's Prime Time Cafe (Hollywood Studios)- 1997
Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom)- 1997
San Angel Inn (EPCOT)- 1997
Fulton's Crab House (Downtown Disney)- 1997
Victoria & Albert's (Grand Floridian)- 1997
California Grill (Contemporary)- 1997, 2005, 2008
Cape May Cafe (Beach Club)- 2005
Mama Melrose's (Hollywood Studios)- 2005
Rainforest Cafe (Downtown Disney)- 2005
Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge)- 2005, 2008
Narcoossee's (Grand Floridian)- 2008
Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge)- 2008
Cinderella's Royal Table (Magic Kingdom)- 2008
Be Our Guest (Magic Kingdom)- 2015
Chef Mickey's (Contemporary)- 2015
Les Chefs de France (EPCOT)- 2015
Tutto Italia (EPCOT)- 2015
Grand Floridian Cafe (Grand Floridian)- 2015

 Here's a peek at this trip's eats...
Chef Mickey's Character Breakfast Buffet
Be Our Guest Tuna Nicoise Salad (lunch)
Be Our Guest Chocolate Cream Puff, Lemon-Raspberry Cream Puff, The Master's Cupcake, Triple Chocolate Cupcake
Les Chefs de France Bouillabaisse de Fruits de Mer (dinner)
Filet de Boeuf Grille
 Assiette de Sorbets du Jour
Profiteroles au Chocolat
 Aloha Isle Dole Whip Float
 Dawa Bar Bloody Mary
Main Street Confectionery Chocolate Cover Apples & Easter Treats
Tutto Italia Ristorante Caesar Salad (dinner)
 Salmon, Grilled Asparagus, Shaved Fennel
 Lasagna alla Bolognese
 Mocha Tiramisu
Torta di Ricotta

Thankfully we clocked about 12-13 miles each day to work some of this off!  Everything was really delicious, the sorbets in France and the Dole Whip float were perfect treats with the hot weather!  The Bloody Mary was a must on Easter morning in the Animal Kingdom!  I would highly recommend Be Our Guest in the newly expanded Fantasyland, we tried it for a quick service lunch and were impressed by the food and use of technology to deliver it to your table!

I'll be back tomorrow with some more Disney fun!

Do you have a favorite Disney restaurant?
