Menu Monday and Weekend Scenes

Hello Monday!  It was another beautiful summer weekend here and we took full advantage!  Saturday we were off to Miacomet Beach on the southern shore...
We enjoyed dinner at a family favorite Saturday evening, Fifty-Six Union...
 The restaurant has a back patio great for afternoon cocktails and dining in the summer months!
Fifty-Six Union is a family business that is chef owned and operated so it consistently delivers excellent food and service!
A boy and his chowder...this kids loves his chowder!
I love that you can take a break between courses and enjoy their garden!
I enjoyed the Seared Scallops with Isreali Cous Cous and Broccolini...
 Mr. PS and Riley opted for the Fifty-Six Burger...
 Reagan enjoyed the housemade Vegetarian Ravioli...
For dessert I ordered my favorite, the 56 Butterscotch Brownie.  I got hooked on this in 2010 and thankfully no one else in the family likes coconut so I had it all to myself!
 Mr. PS had the Red, White & Blue Shortcake...
 The big kids loved the Chipwich with Salted Caramel Chocolate Truffle Gelato!
I did my usual Sunday morning bike ride out to Sconset.  We went to mass in town and came home for lunch. It was a bit overcast and cool so Sunday afternoon we drove out to Sconset and stopped at Low Beach and Sankaty Head...
 We ended off the weekend with Bartlett's Farm Arugula & Tomato Caprese...
 and some expertly grilled tenderloin steaks!
