What's the Scoop Wednesday

Kimball Farm, Westford, MA
We first visited Kimball Farm in June 2010 and the kids have been begging to go back ever since!  Their Westford location is a little over 45 minutes away and honestly not in our usual line of travel so it took us five years to get back, but we made it!

So here's a look at our 2010 trip along with last week's trip...

2015...extra scoop for Rowan!

2010 mini-golf

2015...mini-golf with a mini-golfer and bumper boats for the now big kids!

Kimball Farm has four locations and in my opinion is a bit of a circus.  They have their ice cream stand, a country store, an outdoor grill, an arcade, mini-golf, bumper boats, batting cages, pitch and putt, pony rides, cruise night and space for corporate or school outings.  You could spend an entire day there!  The downside is that it now attracts huge crowds, it took us 20 minutes to get our ice cream!

Their ice cream portions are very generous and have only slightly increased over the past five years!  In 2010, they offered a small for $3.80 and a large for $4.25.  Their former small is equivalent to their current kiddie size at $4.15.  They now offer a larger small at $4.45 and a large at $4.95 which looks like a pint of ice cream!

In 2010, I enjoyed their Chocolate Peanut Butter yogurt and this time tried their Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip yogurt.  I love their yogurt because it's so smooth and creamy, you really can't tell that it's yogurt!

Reagan ordered the Malted Moo Crunch this time and Riley went with a special flavor, a Chocolate Cookie Dough.  Rowan loved the soft serve vanilla/chocolate swirl yogurt!

After a round of mini-golf and the bumper boats, we called it a day and headed home.  Hopefully it won't take us another five years to return!
