Menu Monday and Weekend Scenes

Happy Monday!  The sun is shining so no complaints here, but a three day weekend would have been really nice after a super busy couple of days!  

We woke to more snow and freezing rain on Saturday, but I was up and out to help prep for Rowan's school's annual auction.  Four of us have been working hard for the past two months to put this event together and we think it went pretty well!

We had over 40 silent auction items!

 And several live auction items...

Mr. PS and I walked away with a great beach tote filled with goodies and a 10 class pack to Pure Barre!

Sunday morning I relaxed a bit and caught up on some chores before heading to Cohasset on the south shore to run a 10K.  This was the 41st running of the Road Race by the Sea.

 Almost 900 runners came out on this beautiful spring day!

 I love to run near the water, it's so energizing!

The finish is always a welcome sight!

 Ah yes, the 6.3 mile 10K...a bonus 10th of a mile!

I zipped home, ate lunch, showered and we were off to 5:00 Mass and Riley's last Confirmation class...Alleluia!

Since today's weather is looking good, I'm seizing the opportunity to get in another run in anticipation of three more road races this month.  While my endurance isn't bad, I could use some speed work.
