Our Charleston House

Traveling as a family of five can present lodging challenges.  We're too many people for one hotel room, hotels can't always guarantee adjoining rooms and hotel suites can be very expensive.  After looking at a few different options, I landed at vrbo.com.  We used VRBO for our trip to St. Thomas in 2015 and had a very positive experience so I decided to go that route again.

After plugging in our preferences and examining several listings, I landed on this restored historic home on the northern end of the historic district just a few blocks from popular King Street.
It had a lot of rustic charm combined with modern conveniences!  It had a small living room on the first floor...
a king bedroom...
a modern kitchen with some thoughtful touches...
a small dining area with a washer/dryer in the adjacent closet...
a full bathroom rounds out the first floor.
Heading upstairs...
another king bedroom...
another living room space...
and a third king bedroom...
with another full bathroom.
We made ourselves at home...
and truly enjoyed our stay!
I'll be back tomorrow to share our Charleston activities!
