NHA Festival of Trees
Yesterday we visited the
Nantucket Historical Association's Festival of Trees
at the Whaling Museum. The annual exhibit ran from December 4th through today and is always a highlight of our holiday season!
Local citizens, businesses and organizations can sponsor a tree to decorate. The trees are on display throughout the Whaling Museum.
The Bartlett's Farm Veggie Tree was my favorite!
I also loved this one from a local builder, made up of Nantucket Island shaped wood.
Rowan loved the
tree by local author, Wendy Rouillard.
Rowan was very busy completing her scavenger hunt!
A painted "tree" with the three Nantucket lighthouses from local artist, Greg Hill.
The former lens from Sankaty Head Lighthouse...
We'll be back next year!
