We decided to take the two plus hour drive from San Francisco down to Monterey last week to hit the Monterey Bay Aquarium and check out the area.
Of course I did some research first and found a fun spot for lunch,
Hula's Island Grill. I started with Hula's Mai Tai and we ordered some fried plantains too.
I enjoyed the Blackened Ahi Caesar Salad.
Reagan had the Habanero Lime Chicken Tacos and the guys inhaled their Hula Burgers before I could take photo!
After Hula's we strolled downtown Monterey which is known for its canning history.
The big kids traveled to southern California with us in 2010, but this was Rowan's first chance to check out the Pacific Ocean!
Ready to explore the aquarium!
Tomorrow a San Francisco donut tradition and our trip to Napa!
