Gracie's Ice Cream

We hit Gracie's over Memorial Day weekend after dinner.  It's located in the Union Square neighborhood of Somerville which abuts Boston.  It opened in late September of 2014 and has been on my ice cream bucket list ever since!

It's sort of a no frills operation, the focus is clearly on making ice cream!  Their ever-changing flavors are listed in dry erase marker on the tile wall...

The prices are certainly fair for generous portions of artisan ice cream!

 After sampling a few flavors, we made our decisions...

Reagan went fruity with a cup of Mango, I of course went with my favorite Black Raspberry Chip...

Riley enjoyed a cup of Salty Two Cookie, a vanilla base with crushed Nutter Butters and Oreos.

After sampling the Pop Tart Pourri, Mr. PS decided to give it a go.  It was a strawberry base with crushed strawberry Pop Tarts...apparently it was pretty tasty!

So if you find yourself in the Boston area, check out Gracie's and their menagerie of fun flavors.  It's well worth the trip!
