Menu Monday and Weekend Scenes

It was another snowy Monday morning here, fortunately it warmed up and turned to rain so it didn't impact our morning commute too badly.

As usual our weekend flew by...Friday night Reagan and I prepped our outfits for the Ugly Sweater Run the next morning.
We woke up to find our elf hanging out on our Lookout Farm Cider growler in our mudroom.  Troubling!
Despite the freezing cold temperatures, we trekked to Boston and braved some really long lines to grab our numbers for the Ugly Sweater Run.  This is not a serious race, there's no timing.  It's comparable to The Color Run, perfect for families and friends looking to have fun.
Honesty I was in it for the cute hat and medal!
She was such a good sport!
 Long lines for hot cocoa...
 Reagan's "under 21" medal.
My Kahlua sponsored medal and hot cocoa!
I insisted on a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
After a hot shower at home we headed out to a basketball game and a birthday party for one of Rowan's friends at a local karate studio.  They did a great job and the little kids had a blast.
After the gym and gymnastics, we finally picked up our trees...yes trees!  We decided to put a kid-themed one on the second floor near the kids' rooms.  It turned out cute and I will share more of our holiday decorating tomorrow!
Sunday ended with Mass and confirmation class.  The big kids have one more week until their holiday break and Rowan has two more weeks although I think we'll give her a couple of days off so we can enjoy some time together.

Here's what's cooking this week...

Monday- Butternut Squash and Spinach Risotto
Tuesday- Spicy Shrimp Burrito Bowls
Wednesday- Meatloaf, Red Bliss Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans
Thursday- leftovers
Friday- Chicken Caesar Wraps
Saturday- out
Sunday- Creamy Tomato Penne with Italian Sausage

How was your weekend?  Did you get snow too?
