Menu Monday and Weekend Scenes

Happy June!  After a beautiful May, we're starting June with rain and cooler temps...we definitely need the rain here so not complaining, but I'm back to wearing a sweater!
As far as our weekend, I spent a could portion of Friday and Saturday morning prepping for our Cousin's BBQ.  We started taking turns hosting get togethers for the kid cousins on Mr. PS's side of the family last year.  With 5 of them under the age of 5 they have a ball together and my big kids love overseeing the chaos! Of course the adults enjoy each other's company too!

We started with some snacks and then served grilled chicken, bbq beef brisket, homemade potato salad, baked beans, green salad and homemade corn bread.  We finished off with chocolate chip cookies, fruit salad, strawberry shortcake and some worn out kids!

Sunday started with a local 5K and then we were off to the Boston Children's Museum.  Another great place that we haven't been to in a few years!  I think the big kids enjoyed themselves just as much as Rowan...
 My favorite exhibit...
After the museum, we made our way to Seasons 52.  This was our first time dining there and hopefully not our last!  The Maui Tuna Crunch salad was delicious!  Have you ever tried Seasons 52?
Needless to say everyone was wiped out last night, but we were up bright and early this morning for Riley's first exams!  He has a study day tomorrow and his last set of exams on Wednesday...summer vacation is right around the corner for him!  Too bad his sister is in school until the 23rd :(

Hope you had a wonderful weekend too! Here's a look at what's cooking this week...
